Prestressed Hollowcore Flooring

Prestressed hollowcore floor/roof planks are used in a variety of industrial, commercial and residential construction projects. The planks are designed with circular cores running the entire length of the member. In certain applications, these cores can be used to conceal electrical and/or mechanical raceways.

Pittsburgh Flexicore manufactures its hollowcore floor/roof planks using zero slump concrete that is forced through an extrusion machine. The planks are cured then sawcut to the appropriate length for the intended project.
