Pittsburgh Flexicore Co., Inc. commissions new 8" (20cm) Whisper extruder manufactured by Ultraspan Technologies.

Pittsburgh Flexicore Co., Inc. commissions new 36,000 lb. Taylor forklift with special 12' wide mast attachments. This lift is mainly used to load hollowcore plank from our storage yard to flatbed trailers scheduled to your jobsite.

July 1999

Pittsburgh Flexicore Co., Inc. was approved by PCI for quality prestressed concrete production under category C2.

September 1998

Pittsburgh Flexicore Co., Inc. commissions new concrete batch plant dedicated to hollowcore production. The plant was designed for speed and consistent batching accuracy using state-of-the-art computerized controls, utilizing the latest in microwave moisture control.

  • 200 Tons of overhead indoor aggregate storage
  • 75 Tons of cement storage
  • 50 Tons of fly ash or slag cement storage
  • 2 cubic yard countercurrent pan mixer
  • Output capacity of 50 cyd's per hour
